Mass of cart , M = 50 kg and speed of cart, V = 12m/s
Let mass m=10 kg put into cart with speed v
According to law of conservation of momentum (newton's second law)

MV=mv
50 x 12 = (50+10) x v
v = 10 m/s

now velocity of cart after put 10 kg is 10 m/s
