  • Potassium mainly occurs in deposits of KCl (Sylvite), a mixture of KCl and NaCl(Sylvinite) and double salt of KCl·MgCl2·6H2O(Carnallite) and as K2O·Al2O3·6SiO3(Feldspar).
  • Also seen in minerals like Orthoclase which is found in igneous rock and granite.
