Solution

Spermatogenesis:

  1. Sperms are produced in the testes.
  2. Spermatogenesis is the process through which sperm cells are formed.
  3. In anisogamous types of sexual reproduction, sperm is the male reproductive cell, also known as a gamete.
  4. Spermatozoa are motile sperms with a tail (flagellum) that is produced by animals.
  5. Spermatogonia develop into spermatocytes, which go through meiosis and lose half of their chromosomes.
  6. Spermatids, which develop into motile sperm cells, are the ultimate outcome.
  7. Spermatids build a tail, or flagellum, in animals. The entire procedure is ongoing and takes around three months from start to end.
  8. The creation of spermatogonia from germ cell precursors is the first step in the process.
