Question

Where is the natural gas usually found?

Open in App
Solution

Natural gas: Natural gas is a mixture of gases that are rich in hydrocarbons. All of these gas (methane, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and so on) are found in the atmosphere naturally. Natural gas reserves are found near other solid and liquid hydrocarbons such as coal and crude oil, deep inside the earth.

Thus, natural gas is usually found deep inside the earth either alone or covering the crude oil.
