Open in App
Solution

For obtaining a upright and enlarged image in front of a converging lens the object has to be placed between first focus and optical centre, When the object is located at a location in front of the focal point, the image is always on the same side of the lens as the object and it will be an upright and enlarged image in other words, the image dimensions are greater than the object dimensions.
