Solution
It is generally seen that there is more biodiversity in the tropical region than the temperate region because of a variety of factors.First being the constant temperature and climate. The temperate region has a severe climate which makes it very hard for animals to survive in such extreme climatic condition. The tropical forest has a stable ecosystem as well as a suitable climatic condition and favourable reproductive environment for animal and species to thrive. The tropical region has undergone very fewer changes over the course of evolution which give them better stability and the species that evolved there as compared to the temperate region which has undergone massive calamities in the past.
