Whether the given function is even or odd
[f(x)f(x)g(x)+g(x)]n.

Open in App
Solution

Let, F(x)=[f(x)f(x)g(x)+g(x)]n

Now, F(x)=[f(x)f(x)g(x)+g(x)]n=(1)n[f(x)f(x)g(x)+g(x)]n

F(x)=(1)nF(x)

Therefore, if n is even then F is even and if n€ is odd then F is odd.
