The acid produced by the stomach:

  1. Hydrochloric acid is produced in our stomach.
  2. The stomach's interior surface is extremely soft and smooth.

  4. If we do not eat at regular intervals, the stomach is forced to bear the acid.
  5. It will harm the stomach's layers and cause ulcers.

Excess acid effect on the stomach:

  1. The excess acid secretion in the stomach causes indigestion.
  2. It also causes stomach irritation and pain.
  3. The excess acid also causes oesophageal irritation and burning, leading to acidity.
  4. To neutralize the acidity one should takes antacid like Magnesium hydroxide.
