Ribosomes are called protein mills of the cell because the proteins are manufactured in the ribosomes, hence, these are called protein factories. The proteins are made up amino acids (smaller units), which bind together to form the polypeptide.
Lysosomes are organelles in the cytoplasm of eukaryotic cells containing degradative enzymes, enclosed in a membrane. Peroxisomes are small organelles present in the cytoplasm of many cells, they contain the reducing enzyme catalase and some oxidases.
