Which among the following is a part of the male external genitalia?
The reproductive structures found externally in males is collectively known as male external genitalia. Penis is a part of external male genitalia.
The penis is divided into three main regions:
1) Root: Fixed portion that attaches the penis to the body wall.
2) Body: Tubular, movable portion of the organ, also called shaft.
3) Glans: Expanded distal end that surrounds the external urethral orifice. The foreskin is a roll of skin that covers the end of the penis. Fold of skin called prepuce surrounds the tip of the penis
Seminal vesicles, prostate gland are the accessory glands while vasa efferentia is a male reproductive duct. All these are internal structures.
