Solution

The correct option is D IV only
Oral contraceptives are pills containing small doses of progestogen or progestogen-estrogen combinations. The main mechanism of action of these pills is to obstruct the release of Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) and Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and eventually this leads to inhibition of ovulation, as well as altering the quality of cervical mucus to retard the entry of sperms.
These oral pills have very few side effects, a very high contraceptive value and are well accepted by females.
It is an orally taken contraceptive pill and it does not impact on insemination of sperm into the female genital organ or vagina.
Only condoms can prevent the semen from entering the female vagina.
