Solution

The correct option is A Contraceptive pills
Pills are hormonal contraceptives containing a combination of progestogen–estrogen or progestogens only. They inhibit ovulation and implantation. The pills also cause the thickening of the mucus in the cervix that prevents/retards the entry of sperms.

Copper releasing IUDs do not contain hormones. Instead they release copper ions into the uterus. The copper ions suppress the motility of sperms and also the fertilising capacity of sperms.

Diaphragms and cervical caps are barrier methods of contraception used by females. These are made of rubber and are used to cover the cervix during coitus. They block the entry of sperms into the female reproductive tract and thus prevent fertilisation.
