Which among the following is the purest form of natural water?
Rainwater
Rainwater is the purest form of water because as the water evaporates all the impurities are left behind whereas lake water and river water are the impure forms of water but nowadays rainwater becomes acidic due to the addition of oxides of nitrogen and sulfur. Lake water, river water are not pure because of the disposal of different wastes in lake and river water. Moreover, groundwater contains dissolved contaminants and bacteria which makes it impure and needs proper water treatment before consumption.
