Introduction of fast-track courts

The Law Commission's reports have highligted the issue of increasing pendency of cases on a recurring basis. It has recommended several measures to deal with this issue. Some of them include reducing adjournments, clubbing cases, curtailing holidays, filling vacancies and improving staff strength, improving physical infrastructure of the district and subordinate courts, propogation of Alternative Dispute Redressal Mechanisms, etc.
