  4. Solids are closely packed particles, as we know. As a result, the intermolecular forces between the particles are stronger, and the force of attraction between them is likewise stronger.
  5. Liquids, on the other hand, have particles that are more closely packed than solids.
  6. Gases have very tightly packed particles that are constantly in random motion.
