There were different reasons that made the Muslims feel the need to have their own organisations to make their voices heard. Loss of sovereignty, weak socio-economic conditions, lack of western education among the Muslims were the factors that contributed to the formation of the separate organisations for the Muslims. The British also encouraged the Muslim communalists to form their separate organisation to weaken the Congress. This eventually led to the formation of the Muslim League- an organisation where Muslim interests were given primary importance.
