The colour of blood through the veins is darker than that in the capillaries
The conventional colour used to depict blood flowing through the veins is blue and for the blood flowing through the arteries is red. But this is not true. The blood flowing through the arteries and capilaries are rich in oxygen and are hence brightly coloured (Red). The deoxygenated blood that flows through the veins appear darker(red) in colour.
