Solution

The correct options are
B Apart from France, Britain, and Germany, other major powers of the world were not a part of this organisation.
C Many League members like Denmark, Norway, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands, and France all fell to Hitler in WWII.
D It was formally disbanded on 19 April, 1946, and its powers and functions had been transferred to the nascent United Nations.
The formation of the League of Nations was a decisive event in the history of international relations. Post WWI, the victorious Allied powers formed an international diplomatic group to resolve disputes between countries. However, it failed to achieve its objective. When WWII broke out, most members of the League refused to get involved and claimed neutrality. Many League members fell to Hitler in 1940. The Allied powers endorsed the idea of the United Nations (UN) and disbanded the League on 19 April, 1946. Its powers were transferred to the UN.
