Solution

The correct option is C Light beam passing through a glass of saltwater
The tyndall effect is defined as light scattering by particles in a colloid or particles in a very fine suspension.

The path of the sun rays coming in through clouds is visible because of tyndall effect. Clouds are colloids, they scatter light and make its path visible.

When a beam of light pass through milk in a glass, it appears faint blue, since milk is a colloid and light passing through it gets scattered.

We also sometimes see the path of sunlight when it comes in through windows, especially if there are lots of dust particles. The suspended dust particles scatter the light and make its path visible.

However, the particles in saltwater are too small to scatter the beam of light and make its path visible. Hence, a glass of saltwater does not show tyndall effect.
