The Governing Body is the executive organ of the International Labour Organisation. Having a tripartite structure i.e. representatives from Government, organization and labourers take part in the decision making, the Governing Body has $56$ members ($28$ from Government, $14$ each from Employers and Labourers). Ten of the government seats in the body is permanent for member countries of industrial importance which are Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Russia, UK and the USA.
