Solution

The correct options are
A Dalton
B Thompson
C Rutherford
Dalton postulated that elements are made up of tiny indivisible particles called atom. But after conducting a number of experiments scientist came to know what is inside an atom.

According to Rutherford's atomic model, the electron revolves at a high speed around the nucleus of an atom in a fixed orbit.
This would lead to constant loss of energy and electrons eventually falling into the nucleus. Hence, the atom would be unstable.

Thomson was successful in explaining the neutrality of the atom, but if the electrons are embedded in the nucleus this would lead to huge unstability in the atom.

In 1913 Neil bohr presented a model of an atom, which could explain the stability of an atom .
