Solution

The correct option is A Hyaline cartilage
Cartilage is a flexible but strong supportive connective tissue. There are three types of cartilage namely, hyaline, elastic and fibrocartilage.
Hyaline cartilage is the most abundant type of cartilage and is transparent. It is found as supportive tissues in the nose, ears, trachea, larynx, and smaller respiratory tubes. It also exists on the ventral ends of ribs and the end of long bones. It is found on many joint surfaces and on the articular surface of bones as articular cartilage (synovial joints). Here, hyaline cartilage reduces friction and acts as shock-absorbing tissue. Hyaline cartilage is the precursor to the bone in most of the embryonic skeleton.
Fibrocartilage is found in invertebral discs, joint capsules, ligaments.
Elastic cartilage is found in the external ear, epiglottis and larynx.
Hence the correct option is A.
