Protein components are CHONS, that is C- carbon, H- hydrogen, O-oxygen and N-nitrogen. There are proteins that contain S- sulfur; cysteine and methionine are sulfur containing amino acids, and are generally present in most proteins. And proteins generally do not contain phosphorous. Phosphorous is present in proteins only when they are phosphorylated, that is when phosphate groups are introduced into them. But phosphorous is not a component of any amino acid.

Elements CHOP are more common in nucleotides. And simple carbohydrates generally do not contain P, S or N.
