Question

Which conditions of temperature and pressure favour ideal behavior of gases?

Open in App
Solution

For ideal behaviour low pressure and high temperature is favoured, because when the pressure is low, there is no attractive or repulsive forces between the molecules. As well as temperature is high, the volume is high, indicating that volume occupied by the individual gas particles are less compared to the total volume.
