${(y+\frac{1}{8})}^2=\frac{1}{64}+\sqrt{2}$
${(y+\frac{1}{8})}^2=\frac{1+64+\sqrt{2}}{64}$
Thus, $\frac{1}{64}$ must be added and subtracted to solve the given equation
