Causes: It is caused due to the deficiency of hormone, called insulin.
Symptoms:
Frequent urination, increased thirst, and increased hunger.
Serious cases may result in heart disease, kidney failure or damage to the eyes.

deficiency of thyroxine- deficiency of thyroxine by the thyroid gland causes hypothyroidism.
