Samantsinh the last Chavada ruler did not have an issue and he adopted Mulraj. Mulraj overthrew Samantsinh Chavada in 942 and form Solanki dynasty. Mulraj moved southward from Gujratra region and took over Anhilwada Patan from Chavada rulers in 942. He defeated Abhir King and Laxraj of Kutchchh.
