Hyperopia:

The eye defect that is corrected by wearing the spectacles of the convex lens is called hyperopia. It is commonly called far-sightedness.

Hyperopia eye defect:

  1. Hyperopia is defined as an eye defect when eyesight is not able to see clear nearby objects.
  2. Common eyesight problems for adults.
  3. The interval between the eyes lens and retina is very small so the focus is on the other side of the retina.
  4. Hence, eyeglasses are used as convergent lenses to improve deflection and also make smaller focal lengths.
  5. To treat hyperopia we can use glasses, contact lenses, and also surgery.
