Solution

Determine the Prime factorization of numbers:

Prime numbers have only two factors, the number 1 and the prime number itself. Composite numbers have more than two factors, and every composite number can be written as a unique product of primes. This is called the prime factorization of a number.

  • A prime number is a positive natural number that has only two positive natural number divisors
  • The number 69 is composite. Its factors are 1, 3, 23, and 69.

Hence, 1 and the number itself factors are not included in the prime factorization of a composite number.
