Greenhouse Gases:

  1. Greenhouse gases referred to those gases which form a sheet in the atmosphere and trap heat and reflect it back into the earth's atmosphere, resembling a glass greenhouse.
  2. These gases include Carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, CFCs, etc.
  3. These gases are responsible for warming the atmosphere.
  4. As these forms sheet around the atmosphere of the earth, and traps the heat, it raises the temperature of the earth.
  5. And causes Global warming.
  6. Excess accumulation of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, ozone, and CFC causes warming of the earth is called global warming.
  7. These gases are mainly emitted by the burning of fossil fuels and many electronic appliances.
  8. Greenhouse gases are responsible for global warming.
