Which group of animals have blood-filled coelom?
Arthropoda
Arthropods have an open circulatory system i.e. their body cells are in direct contact (bathed) with blood. Therefore, their body cavity or coelom which contains all internal organs is filled with blood. This is in contrast to a closed circulatory system in which blood only flows through blood vessels. The circulatory system of annelid worms are closed while Nematodes lack a circulatory system.
