Solution

The correct option is C Adrenalin
Adrenaline (called Fright-Flight-Flight hormones) secreted by the adrenal glands is responsible for the dilation of blood vessels, increased oxygen consumption by tissues and glucogenesis to prepare the body for emergency reactions under the threatening conditions.
Adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) stimulates the synthesis and secretion of steroid hormones called glucocorticoids from the adrenal cortex.
Insulin stimulates metabolism of carbohydrates. Influences the storage and utilization of sugar, inhibits hepatic gluconeogenesis and stimulates glycogenesis.
Where as, glucagon influences the enzymatic action of phosphorylase controlling glycogenesis in the liver and muscles and increases the amount of sugar in the blood.
