  2. The inner core of the adrenal gland is called the adrenal medulla.
  3. Two hormones are secreted by the adrenal medulla, namely adrenaline which is also known as epinephrine, and Nor-adrenaline, which is also known as nor-epinephrine.
  4. Both hormones control emotions like anger, fear, etc.
  5. They also function to control blood pressure, heartbeat, respiration rate, etc.
