Open in App
Solution

Spermatogenesis:

  1. The process to produce sperms from immature male germ cells is known as spermatogenesis.
  2. At the age of puberty, spermatogenesis starts.
  3. Luteinizing hormone (LH) and Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) can stimulate spermatogenesis.
  4. LH acts upon Leydig cells, which stimulate and secrete androgens, and androgen stimulates spermatogenesis.
  5. FSH acts on Sertoli cells, stimulating some factors that help in the spermatogenesis process.
