Solution
Inertia is a property of an object which provides resistance against changing the object's current state of rest or straight-line motion.
If an object is at rest, it will remain to stay at rest unless an external force is applied. This is due to the object's inertia. The same applies to an object moving in a straight line at a constant speed. Unless the external force is applied, it will continue moving without any change.
The inertia of an object is dependent on an object's mass. The greater the object's mass, the greater will be its inertia.
Hence, the inertia of a bowling ball will be greater as it has more mass when compared to a golf ball.
