Good Fuel

  1. Should have moderate ignition temperature higher than room temperature otherwise it is hard to handle.
  2. Should not produce harmful gas like Carbon Monoxide CO on burning.
  3. Should have more calorific value.

Fuel B is better than Fuel A because:

  1. Fuel A has a high calorific value but has a very low ignition temperature of 25C which is almost room temperature.
  2. Fuel A also produces carbon monoxide, which has a serious impact on human health.
  3. Fuel B has a moderate ignition temperature, i.e. 75C, which makes it safe for day-to-day life.
  4. Fuel B has a moderate calorific value, i.e. 50kJkg.

Hence, Fuel B is better fuel than Fuel A.
