Which is more stable O2NCH2CH2O- or CH3CH2O- and why?

O2NCH2CH2O- is more stable because it contains NO2 which is electron withdrawing group and induces -I (-ve Inductive) effect and hence stabilises the compound. However CH3CH2O- has ethyl group which is electron donating group and cause +I effect on the compound decreasing it's stability.
