Embryo sac or the female gametophyte is present in the ovule. Embryo sac is formed from megaspore.
Stamen is the male reproductive organ which has two parts, the long and slender stalk called the filament and a terminal bilobed structure called the anther.
Young anther has a homogeneous mass of cells called the sporogenous tissue which differentiate to form Microspore mother cells (MMC).
MMC then forms Microspores by the meiotic division which eventually form the pollen grains.
