Converting fractions as Like fraction:
$\frac{3}{8} o r \frac{4}{5} = \frac{3 \times 5}{8 \times 5} o r \frac{4 \times 8}{5 \times 8} = \frac{15}{40} < \frac{32}{40}$
Therefore $\frac{15}{40}$ is smaller than $\frac{32}{40}$ .
Hence, $\frac{3}{8}$ is smaller than $\frac{4}{5}$ .
