Question

Which is the biggest source of heat for earth?

Open in App
Solution

The Sun is the biggest source of heat that is received by the earth. A large amount of heat is produced and generated due to the nuclear fusion that takes place at the core of the sun. Here, hydrogen nuclei fuse together to form helium nuclei, thereby generating heat in the process. Some of the sun rays reach the earth in the form of light and heat.
