Solution

The correct option is B Respiratory Bronchiole - Alveolar Duct - Atria - Alveoli
In the respiratory tract, the bronchial tree starts from the trachea and continues up to terminal bronchiole as a result of further subdivisions. The bronchial tree further subdivides to form the respiratory tree which is also known as the exchange zone. The respiratory tree starts with the respiratory bronchiole which is a subdivision of the terminal bronchiole. The respiratory bronchioles further subdivide into alveolar ducts which in turn terminate in expanded passages i.e. atria. Atria divide into the alveoli. Alveoli are the structural and functional unit of the lungs where the gaseous exchange takes place between blood and the alveolar air.
