Let us find LCM of $15$ and $17$ , we get LCM $(15, 17) = 255$
∴ $\frac{13}{15} = \frac{13 \times 17}{15 \times 17} = \frac{221}{255}$
and $\frac{15}{17} = \frac{15 \times 15}{17 \times 15} = \frac{225}{255}$
$∵ 221 < 225$
If the denominators are the same, then the fraction with the greater numerator is the greater fraction
Hence $\frac{13}{15} < \frac{15}{17}$ .
