Let us find LCM of $9$ and $7$ we get $LCM(9,7)=63$

$\frac{7}{9}=\frac{7\times 7}{9\times 7}=\frac{49}{63}$

and $\frac{9}{7}=\frac{9\times 9}{7\times 9}=\frac{81}{63}$

If the denominators are the same, then the fraction with the greater numerator is the greater fraction

$49<81$

Hence $\frac{7}{9}<\frac{9}{7}$
