The correct option is C Reaction center of PSI
PS-I is located on the surface of thylakoid membrane towards the stromal side. When only PS-I is functional, electrons from P700 (PS-I) pass to ferredoxin but are not transferred to NADP, rather but move back to chlorophyll a which is reaction centre of PSI through the cytochrome b6f complex and plastocyanin, it is called as cyclic photophosphorylation which occurs when PS II is absent/nonfunctional.
