Solution

Joints:

  1. The only movable joint in our head is the joint between the skull and lower jaw(mandible).
  2. Skull is the skeleton of the head which is formed of an upper part that forms the brain box(cranium) and a lower part that forms the jaws.
  3. The point at which two separate bones are joined together is known as joints.
  4. With the help of these joints, we can bend or move our body parts. On the basis of the mobility of the joints, they are classified into the following types: ball-and-socket joint, hinge joint, pivotal joint, gliding joint and synovial joints.
  5. Joints present in the skull are known as fixed joints. There are some joints between bones in our skull which are movable like joints between the skull and our lower jaw(mandible).
