Nervous tissue consisting of neurons transmit stimulus in our body. Neurons sense and receive the stimuli and send them very quickly to brain. Brain interpret the stimuli and send response to the effector organs to act. This process is very fast which enable animals to respond quickly. In case of movement, brain send response to muscles which causes the movement.
