Solution

The correct option is C Electromagnetic lens
Traditional glass lenses cannot focus beam of electrons, used in electron microscopes. Hence, they cannot be used in electron microscopy. Glass lenses are suited for light microscopy only. In electron microscopes electromagnetic lenses are used which interact with magnetic properties of beam of electrons and control/ focus them.
