Question

Which natural phenomenon makes chromospheres and corona of the Sun visible?

Open in App
Solution

Total solar eclipses occur when the new moon comes between the Sun and Earth and casts the darkest part of its shadow, the umbra, on Earth. The darkest part of the eclipse, the totality, is almost as dark as night. So the total solar eclipse is the phenomena which makes chromospheres and corona of Sun visible.
