Question

Which necessary enzymes are present in cristae f1 particle of mitochondria?

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student, Mitochondria play role in energy production: oxidative phosphorylation. The inner mitochondrial membrane transduces energy through oxidative phosphorylationmitochondrial respiration creates an electrochemical gradient of protons across the mitochondrial inner membrane, which in turn drives ATP synthesis through the mitochondrial ATP synthase. The inner mitochondrial membrane contains many copies of a protein called the F0F1ATPase. This is also called ATP synthase. The inner mitochondrial membrane hosts the enzymes of the respiratory electron transport chain.complexes contain NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase , succinate:ubiquinone oxidoreductase , ubiquinone:cytochrome c oxidoreductase (complex III, cytochrome reductase, cytochrome bc1 ), cytochrome c oxidase (complex IV, cytochrome oxidase), and ATP synthase (complex V, F1F0-ATPase). Regards.
