  1. According to Newton's third law:- To every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, action and reaction act on different bodies.
  2. When birds fly and exert force on the air, the wings of the birds force the air downwards and also backward.
  3. The air in return lifts the bird and also pushes it forward i.e a reaction force
